Dr. Jaume Capdevila, MD, PhD, is a Senior Researcher in the Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Tumors Group at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) in Barcelona. He specializes in the research and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and endocrine tumors, with a focus on early-drug development. Dr. Capdevila earned his medical degree at the University of Lleida in Catalonia, Spain, and completed a fellowship in biochemistry and molecular biology. Following his medical oncology specialization at the Santa Creu and Sant Pau University Hospital in Barcelona, he joined Vall d’Hebron University Hospital and VHIO in 2006. Since 2013, he has also led the Gastrointestinal and Endocrine Tumor Unit at Teknon Cancer Institute. Dr. Capdevila is an active member of leading oncology societies, including ASCO, ENETS, and SEOM. He serves as Secretary and Treasurer of GETNE and is a founding member and Treasurer of GETHI. Additionally, he advises the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) and is part of the Thyroid Cancer Working Group within the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SEEN).

Professor Damian Wild, MD, PhD is Professor and the Division Head of Nuclear Medicine and Head of the Center for Neuroendocrine and Endocrine Tumors at the University Hospital Basel.After earning his MD from the University of Basel in 2004 and his PhD in Medicine from University College London in 2011, Prof. Wild obtained Swiss and German certifications in Nuclear Medicine. Since 2014, he has led the Center for Neuroendocrine and Endocrine Tumors in Basel, where he has been Division Head of Nuclear Medicine since 2012 and a Full Professor since 2015. His previous roles include consultant and research fellow positions in Switzerland, Germany, and the UK. Prof. Wild’s extensive research experience includes serving as investigator for multiple Phase 0-III clinical studies. He has contributed to imaging and therapeutic advancements in nuclear medicine, particularly in neuroendocrine and endocrine tumors.

Dr. Heloisa Soares, MD, PhD is a medical oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine cancers. She is an Associate Professor at the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) at the University of Utah, where she serves as Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Office and co-leads the GI Clinical Trials Research Group. At HCI, she also serves as Neuroendocrine Tumor Clinical Program and Research Initiative Director and leads the University of Utah NET Destination Care Program. Born in Brazil, Dr. Soares earned her medical degree from Faculdade de Medicine do ABC. She completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida and her hematology-oncology fellowship and PhD in molecular biology at UCLA. Dr. Soares holds leadership roles with NANETS, including as a board member and vice chair of the NCI NET Taskforce. She is also a member of SWOG, NRG cooperative groups, and the NCCN Neuroendocrine and Adrenal Tumors Guidelines Panel. A dedicated patient advocate, she volunteers with the ASCO Advocacy Summit and is a board member of the Healing NET Foundation.

Dr. Maribel del Olmo-García, MD, PhD, is a specialist in Endocrinology and Nutrition at University Hospital La Fe in Valencia, Spain, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Valencia. After earning her medical degree in 2005 from the University of Valencia, she completed her specialization in Endocrinology and Nutrition at Hospital La Fe in 2010.

Dr. del Olmo-García coordinates the Reference Unit for Neuroendocrine Tumors in the Valencian Community and the Pheo-Para Alliance Clinical Center of Excellence. She is a member of the scientific committee of GETNE, secretary of the ENETS WiN group, and an active member of SEEN.

Dr. Chiara Maria Grana, MD is a Director of the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Radiometabolic Therapy at the IEO in Milano, with over 33 years of experience, especially in the field of radiopharmaceuticals in oncology. Additionally, Dr. Grana is the leading physician in the field of neuroendocrine tumors at IEO, coordinating the nuclear medicine diagnosis and therapies for neuroendocrine malignancies. She earned her medical degree at Universita degli Studi di Milano, Italy, and continued her medical education and training in the field of oncology and nuclear medicine at the same institution. Since 2012, she holds the Italian scientific license for a position of Associate Professor in Medical Imaging, Radiotherapy and Neuroradiology by the Italian Ministry for University and Research. Renowned for her dedication to patient care and medical education, Dr. Grana has held various university teaching positions and actively contributed to professional societies and task forces. She has an impressive record of 115 scientific publications, focusing on breast cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, and innovative radiopharmaceuticals. Her work has significantly advanced treatment options and the field of nuclear medicine.
Dr. Grana's leadership, expertise, and pioneering research have established her as a respected figure in her field and a trusted provider of exceptional patient care.
