Nuclear Medicine Physician, UZ Leuven and KU Leuven
Prof. Dr. Goffin is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at KU Leuven and a Staff Member of Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital Leuven in Belgium. She is part of multidisciplinary teams dealing with a wide range of cancer types, including urogenital, head & neck and breast, as well as in various non-malignant clinical settings such as urology, nephrology, and epilepsy. Her main research interests include the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
Prof. Dr. Goffin is the current Oncology & Theranostics Committee chair and a member of the Women’s Empowerment Task Force at EANM. She is also an associate editor of EJNMMI and an editorial board member of JNM, Cancers and Clinical and Translational Imaging.

Prof. Dr. Herrmann is a board-certified nuclear medicine physician with almost two decades of experience in the field of theranostics. He is the Department of Nuclear Medicine Chair at the University Hospital Essen and the Clinic Director of the Universitätsmedizin Essen in Germany. His research focuses on translating innovative theranostic concepts into the clinic for various cancers, including bladder and prostate cancer.
Prof. Dr. Herrmann was the Chair of the EANM Oncology & Theranostics Committee from 2020-2023. He is the Section Editor of JNM and Cancer Imaging.
